If you've ever visited Barcelona, you've probably heard about
this legendary character…. Some people proudly claim they've seen
him, others will tell you that only very lucky people can catch
sight of him. Some say that they saw him walking on Las ramblas or
cycling next to the sea… Yeah, you know who I am talking about… THE
naked man!
City of freedom and proud of all the differences, Barcelona laws
used to allow nudity in the streets. But, if you suddenly feel like
taking off your clothes, think twice! Since May 2011, it is
completely forbidden in the town center. You can still walk around
the city looking for the naked man, but you will probably find him
on the beach… the only place where nudity is still allowed!
