Scheviningen is one of the most popular beaches in Netherlands
and one of my favourite ones. It is so authentically Dutch Paul
Verhoeven used it as a password in the 'Soldier of Orange' movie (a
nazi soldier woud never be able to pronounce it
correctly).
The cold Northern sea combined with a typical dutch wind makes
Scheveningen not the best places for a tan but nevertheless it is
still one of the top beaches on my list and the only reason why
visiting the hague might be a good idea.
