Queen's day is one of the few days that double the population of
Amsterdam (if not triple). It is celebrated in honor of queen
Juliana - the mother of the Beatrix which is the current queen of
the Netherlands.
What do people do on queen's day in Amsterdam?
If UK would have a big royal event people would probably
entertain themselves discussing the dress of Princess Eugenie of
York and the aerodynamic characteristics of her new hat.

In Amsterdam you throw a party on channels!

You can get wasted and climb on the roof of the
boat-house!

or join some random dance party on the street!

If you feel you're getting sober you can fuel up without leaving
the party!

It is allowed to acknowledge your sympathy to a woman in many
creative ways...

... and urinate randomly

Looking for the trash bin can be very tricky when you're drunk
so people just dump it on the ground...

... or in the water! (Believe it or not but this city will be
entirely clean by the next morning. )

On queen's day one can express his love to the national color of
the Netherlands

or dutch flag

If you're smart enough you can declutter your house and make
some money on pushing your old stuff to drunk people!

Some people prefer enjoying queensday with some extra
comfort!

But the whole city celebrates it - that's for sure!
