My stereotyped image of Ibiza would contain lousy
crowds of tourists hopping from one party to another in order to
get the ultimate clubbing experience. To my big surprise the island
is actually way more versatile than that. In fact finding seclusion
on one of the many deserted beaches of Ibiza might be a good
alternative to partying your ass off in one of the trendy
clubs.

Forget about the grilling bodies, annoying volleyball
players and screaming children. How about having the whole beach
just for you?

While reading about Ibiza I came across quite a few
legends about the tiny island of Es Vedra. You can see it off the
coast from Platja Cala d'Hort. Legends surrounding it vary from the
mystical city of Alantis to favorite landing spots of aliens and
space-ships, -due to what people believe to be a strong
magnetic field surrounding the place.
Even a Carmelite priest had revelations and meetings with
'unearthly beings surrounded by light' while meditating there. Not
a word about whether the guy had smoked some of the infamous Ibiza
herbs...

The sunsets are amazing. If you want to make sure to have
a romantic time at a beach, avoid San Antoni with lots of drunk
screaming British tourists. i would rather suggest you go to
Cala Comte/ Platja de Comte

My advice would be to kick off your shoes, sit back and relax.
And to enjoy the amazing view and the sound of the braking waves,
of course.
