A walk through Eivissa

From the airport we drove to the city of Eivissa. It is internationally known as Ibiza City, but locals refer to it as Eivissa.

The old city is much more beautifull than I've imagined.

The view on the fort is stunning.

The good thing about going to Ibiza in april is the overall laid back atmosphere. The locals are eager to enjoy it while they still can.

A morning hygiene procedure is combined with a tea ceremony:)

It is pretty warm in April. Even this Pinocchio s already affected by the continious UV-B exposure.

However the overall tranquility could be suddenly interrupted by party animals.

Little dogs are very trendy. You can see them on every corner.

For those of you who rent a car: be prepared it's hard to park in the city centre. We're here in april, and I can only imagine how difficult it will be to get rid of your car by the time the island is flooded with tourists. Parking is free at the big parkingspace, at about 500 meters from the city centre. On the street: €2 an hour. During siësta for free. Other option: use the guarded parking garage for €16 a day.
